Dr. Quallich and I decided to go on Remicade IV treatments.

I'm happy to be going on it because this means so many pluses for me in recovery.

I'm down because it means that my condition is still getting worse and won't settle.

Sigh. I'll report more this weekend.

Well, I'm all strapped up for the moment for my capsule endoscopy. I had to sign a waver saying I wouldn't go into any banks or government buildings since I look like I have a bomb strapped to me. So I'm gonna lay low while this stuff goes through ( Read more... )

After last night, I'm not even going to take the iron today. Fuck it! I'm not taking it until tomorrow when I can talk to a nurse. I woke up this morning in so much pain that it was ridiculous!

You know what, at this point it isn't worth it. They put me on it to help get my hemoglobin up and help get my color and energy back.

Since I got out of the hospital on Tuesday, I've been thinking about what my future treatment of my Crohn's disease might be. The problem is now I seem to be flaring up more than before. With the one in May and now this one that put me in the hospital for the second time, it's becoming a little apparent that my current meds aren't going to keep ( Read more... )

Ugh. I hate taking this iron. I think if they just gave me the blood transfusion at the hospital I wouldn't be going through this pain right now. I'd still be on iron, but it wouldn't be as much, and ergo, it wouldn't hurt so bad ( Read more... )
